Finely executed decoration of flowering peonies,Chrysanthemums and sparrow perched on a prunus tree. Personal dedication to one side: 'Presented to Mr. J. Hohnberg by the Japanese Municipality Tientsin, in appreciation of his valuable assistance in connection with the Flood Relief work, 1917.'
